Nestled at the junction of M-50 and the Raisin River, Tecumseh has a rich history – it is rumored to have been part of the Underground Railroad, helping slaves from the southern United States find freedom in Canada in the 1800s.

Today, its historic downtown buildings house specialty shops, businesses, and restaurants, and the city houses industrial and manufacturing companies and more than 360 acres of parks and trails.

Populist came into my manufacturing facility in the fall of 2021. They “cleaned up” a situation that I inherited when I entered my role. Things were askew financially; service and staffing were poorly managed and there were virtually no accountability measures in place. 

I have been happy with Populist’s efforts in righting the ship in cleaning our facility. Providing well managed crews, and good communication help keep everyone rowing in the same direction. The burden of “cleaning” in our facility, which I once dreaded, has been significantly minimized over the last year.
