The first railroad in Michigan, a horse-drawn train, ran between Adrian and Toledo – who knew? Adrian was part of the Underground Railroad and was the 3rd largest city In Michigan in 1860!

Adrian is nestled near the Irish Hills and close to Michigan International Speedway and is also known as the Maple City.

Adrian is home to Adrian College, U.S. News & World Report’s #1 Up-and-Coming College in the Midwest.
