Local lore says that Novi was named after the 6th toll gate on the Grand River Railroad or the sixth stagecoach stop outside Detroit – No. VI. Regardless of where the name came from, Novi is a thriving community, a destination for shopping, great food, and nightlife.
Novi schools, ranked by Niche in the top 100 nationally, attract families from the area and around the world, making Novi a cultural melting pot.
After a week of making Novi look beautiful, we love to grab a game of WhirlyBall and catch a glimpse of the beautifully restored Novi Special water tower, celebrating the Novi V8 that powered Indy cars for 25 years.
